TASK #9: The Changeling

Tthis type of stories deal with the paranormal and the fantastic: apparitions, visions, inexplicable moves and actions, noises, voices, etc. None of that can bear the test of science. I only believe in things that science can demostrate. If not, I will say that it is not true. So, I do not believe in things like paranormal situations like apparitions, visions or inexplicable moves (this does not mean that I am not frightened of horror movies or horror stories), I only think that it is a concidence or that someone is doing a prank. But if in the future someone can affirmate with evidences that this is true and that ghosts or things like this exist and the science aprobate what this person is saying, I will probably believe in ghosts. I do not believe in that also because I think that people in the antiquity (and probably now) were frightened of the void, so they created creatures and lifes after the death for have something after it.

ACHILLES
I was sleeping in my tent when a child woke up me and said to me that agamenon was searching me for fight with a man of other kingdom. He was a strong man, but it was very easy to kill him.
Then, after a party with the Trojans, I was entraining with my cousin, Patroclo, and Ulises come and said to me that the king wanted my services in the war with Troy. I first said no, because I do not want to fight for Agamenon, because I hate that man and because I do not have loyalty to Agamenon. But when I talked about that with my mother, she said to me that if I do not go to the war, I will not be recordated, I will have a familly and a happy life in Greece. But if I go, she said that I will die but my name will be recorded all the time. So, I decided to go to the war.
We went to Troy in boats. We were thousands of men. In my boat were my fighters, incluiding Patroclo.
When we arrived in the beach, we started to fight with the Trojans. They could not kill me because I was faster that them, so we won that battle.
When I went to my tent, one soldier gave me a slave. Her name was Briseida, and she was beautifull. But Agamenon snatched me Briseida, so I decided to do not fight in the next battle.
The next day, when the Greeks finished to fight, Ulises told me that Patroclo died in the battle, because they thought that he was me. When I knew that Hector killed Patroclo, I promised revenge.
The next day, I went to the Troy's wall, and I called Hector to Fight. It was difficult to fight with him, but I could kill him and I get the dead body to the campament. But then Priamo went to the campament to talk with me, because he wanted to tahe the body of Hector. I thought it was thw correct desition and I let him to take Hector's body, and I promised him that there will be 12 days of truce.
In that 12 days, we built a giant horse made of wood. It was a strategy to win the war.
At the night of the finish of the truce, we offered the horse like a present for the Trojans. But there were fighters inside the horse to enter to the city and win the war.
When we were inside the city, we started fight. Well, I was searching Briseida. When I found her, Paris kill me throwing me arrows. And that is the end of my story.

TASK #8: About the film MATRIX

INSTRUCTIONS:

2. Do you think there are layers of reality that only a few of us get to see? Explain, please.
3. How does the main character, Neo, remind us of the figure of Jesus Christ?
1-. Neo is a man that lives in the USA. He works in an office, and he always goes late because he can not sleep because of he is a hacker at night. One day, his life changes. When he was at the office, someone phone him. The person that phonned Neo was Morpheus, and he told Neo that he is in danger and that he want to show Neo the real world. Morpheus knew all what was going to happen to Neo. Neo met Morpheus in an old building, and there were Morpheus and a group of people. Morpheus talked with Neo about the Real World, and what they are living is a computer program called Matrix. Morpheus said to Neo that if he wants to see the Real World he had to teke a pill, but if he wants to dream what was happenning and forget it he had to take another pill. Neo teke the pill that was for show him the Real World. Then, he waked up in a strange place with a lot of people in capsules. Morpheus took Neo into his "ship" and there he learned a lot of things like Kun Fu. Then, he knew that Morpheus thinks that he is the choosen one, and that he have to save the world, but a kind of fortune teller that knows everything said to Neo that it was not true.
2-. I do not know if the world that I see is the same than the other people see. I think that the perspective of the world is different in another countries and in different religions, and that the speculations that the human being create is because the human being is not able to know that there are not anything apart of us.
3-. I think that the most important way that we know that Neo remind us the figure of God is that he is the Choosen one for save the world. I did not see any more ways like that in the film, but I have to say that I never took class of Christianism.
TASK #7: My Review of the film 'Lo Imposible'

At first, I did not like so much the idea of see Lo Imposible, because I knew that it is a film that a lot of people cry with it, and I did not like the idea of cry watching a film, but now I can say that it is a good film, but I am not going to watch it again. I did not like so much the final of the film, because I think that it is so simple, and I like finals with more "action" and more things.
I think that the film have got good actors, but specially the actor who did of Lucas was fantastic. His movements, his expressions... that made put myself in the Lucas' condition. I recommended this film to people that like this type of films, because there are people that have another preferences and do not like this type of films. I would give 3 stars to the film.

I thought it will be another normal summer day. But it was not. I was in the swimming pool with my family, because we were celebrating a barbecue. We were very happy and having fun.
The wind started to blow very strong, and the sun disappeared, and there were many clouds in the sky. I started to think that nothing good will be hapenned. And I was in the truth. The wind blowed stronger and stronger, and pieces of houses started to fell down to the Earth. I was frightened, but I was fascinated too. It is amazing what can do the nature. I was seeing the Katrina hurricane. I run and I went under my house`s porch witnessing that moment. I was a bit frightened, but now, when I remember that, I can say that I was in an amazing moment for the history. My house was not destroy at all, but my neighbour`s house was destroyed.

I am going to talk about the hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina was one of the deadliest hurricanes ever to hit the United States. An estimated 1,833 people died in the hurricane and the flooding that followed in late August 2005, and millions of others were left homeless along the Gulf Coast and in New Orleans. It also damaged the center of Florida and Texas. Hurricane Katrina was the most destructive storm to strike the United States and the costliest storm in U.S. history, causing 108 billion dolars in damage. It ranks sixth overall in strength of recorded Atlantic hurricanes. It was also a very large storm; at its peak, maximum winds stretched 46 to 55 kilometers and its extremely wide swath of hurricane force winds extended at least 138 km to the east from the center. Katrina also had a profound impact on the environment. The storm surge caused substantial beach erosion, in some cases completely devastating coastal areas. In Dauphin Island (a barrier island), approximately 140 km to the east of the point where the hurricane made landfall, the sand that comprised the island was transported across the island into the Mississippi Sound, pushing the island towards land. The storm surge and waves from Katrina also severely damaged the Chandeleur Islands, which had been affected by Hurricane Ivan the previous year.

I have been using a surrogate for the last three months. I have used it for almost 90 percent of my waking time. this is what I have noticed that has happened to me, physically and mentally.
On the positive side, I have been more safe in the street, because people can not kill you, for example, if you cross the road and someone run over you, there is not any problem, because you are safe in your house. On the negative side, I have been with headache and with some problems when I switch off the sustitute, because I do everything with it and I do not have energy when I have to stand up and do something without the sustitute. My conclusion is that we only have to use the sustitutes when it is necessary, because people have to do things like sport and take a walk. The sustitutes are a great idea if there is any war because anyone can be injured.
TASK #3: What do you think will be the end of Surrogates?
I think that Greer is not going to press any button. The fat men of the fim said to Greer that if he press the YES button, he is going to save billions of dolars and save the sustitutes. So I thik that Greer thinks that is better for the human being live without the sustitutes, because there can be problems, for example, the virus that could not kill everyone in the Earth. So, I think that Greer is going to allow the virus to destroy all the sustitutes.

I think that teachers can learn diferents types of how to teach to their students. Students can learn that if they think that they have a problem to study, there are some other childs in the world that they have to "survive" when they are not at home and they do not have time to study. Education authorities can learn that they have to be more flexible when there are some problems and there are people that want help they to found possible solutions.

My name is Erin Gruwel. I am a teacher at a very complicated school in Los Angeles. I was very happy and euphoric in my first day. I talked with the department head.She said that my pearlson was very beautiful, but she said that she did not carry it.
In my first day, I met my new students. They were separated by "bands", and they started to fight in the class. I did not know wht I had to do, so I called another teacher for separated their.
Today, one of my students was shooted in a shop when he was shopping with members of his band. It was horrible. I think that is horrible to kill someone that is in a different ethnic group.
Today, we played a game in class. The game consist that I wiil ask a question and the students that had an affirmative respond, they had to step a line that was in the floor. That day, I knew that a lot of students have lost somebody that was shooted. I also gave to everybody a diary. They have to write in their diarys what they want in class.
